"Dreamville"
Dreamville;
This is scheme ville.
Where kids learn to plan things out,
This is real life.
This is pain hiding, secret keeping.
Cause we don't want no drama, and we don't want no leakage;
No tears.
Though we shed them all through the years; we keep em'; to ourselves.
We supposed to fight the urge,
Can't believe they had the nerve,
To try and come & purge;
Us out the system;
They don't want us to make it,
They see us as ignorant black people,
We see us as risk takers.
So, take your risk.
White man gon take his pick.
You Cop that ice for your wrist,
{He exchange that,
For the chain set}
They only wanna see us locked in cages like we wild.
They don't wanna give us trials,
They don't wanna hear us out.
But we in Dreamville, they gon have to hear us now.
Dreamville: "where we tell stories about how we made it out"
This is Dreamville.
This Schemeville;
I'm writing my dreams,
I had a convoy with my soul, I asked it when will; this all change? He said "boy just used them pen skills.”
Just use them pen skills...
