Nothing's free, ever

It’s never too late.
You said you wanna change, what's stopping you?
You said you love this dude, what's wrong with you?
 Are you insane?
Not clinically,
A little mentally - disoriented?
Does he do it to ya?
I see you frowning every day,
He doesn't make you happy.
And your momma told you this,
But you never believed that it would happen.
So now you're kind of stuck;
Weighing your options.
Cause at times he's really nice,
And other times he's plain heartless.

He makes "sorry" and "I love you" seem like they're just words.
He tells you the best lies that you ever heard.
You don't even know what's true anymore,
You don't even know what to do anymore.
You answer to his name-calling: 'little whore.'
You're scared to walk out the door.
And make excuses for him as if he's never done this before.
 You're 'no' doesn't phase him.
:: Wonder how he would feel if you held him down and raped him.
And got him pregnant and forced him to abort the baby, his first child.
Quite wild.

It's never too late though.
You say you wanna leave, what's stopping you?
You said you still love this dude, what's wrong with you?
It's just the circle, I know you're really hurting, I know you wanna leave, but you wanna see - if he'll change.
But look at the odds.
Look at your eyes.
It seems like when they start to heal, be makes them blacker.
Each day He gets madder.
He'll never change, contrary to what he says.
I think you'd be better off, contrary to everything he's said.

God willing, you read this and up the courage to leave.
I know you wanna climb, but all he wants do is cling.
Let him go.
Let him know.
Nothing's free, if he wants you; the price is set: His Change.
And we all that'll never happen.
Girls it's a lot of fish in the sea,

So start fishing and leave.
