"Conflicts of the Perfect little Christian boy"
They know that I'm a Christian.
They know that I'm a human.
But my life, is pretty much centered
around being 'perfect.'
I gotta attend events at church and never
miss a Sunday service; just to "keep up appearance."
I hide all of my flaws really well, scared
because, if they’d ever reveal
themselves or if people ever found out, they would be like
"oh, he's not really who he claims to
be."
Perfect.
Just perfect.
You can never really be who you are in this
world. And when you change, People always bring up the past.
A Select few know what lie in my closet.
All of the lies that hang there, ironed
out, worn once for public display, but afraid of what people would say, never
to be touched or brought out again.
Because when I brought them out last, I
noticed a dwindling of friends.
Slowly.
Shortly.
My selfish self just wants to live in the
moments and say forget it nothing's perfect and nobody is.
Like when I lost my purity; and I laid
there - ignoring Gods voice but listening to everything she was saying. Every
other desire was cheering me on.
While God said things and I just ignored.
Conflicts of the perfect little Christian
boy...
